T&TEC to launch new mobile app later this year


A new mobile application from the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) is expected to be launched in November.

In a brief update published on Wednesday, T&TEC said it is working on a more user-friendly mobile app and has deactivated its old app in the meantime.

In the absence of the app, the Commission said customers can make emergency reports by calling the problem reporting hotline at 500-BULB (2852) and 800-TTEC (8832).

Alternatively, people can make outage reports via the T&TEC website.

Bill payments and other requests for account information can also be made through the website.
